Klyuchevskaya Sopka is the highest active volcano in Europe and Asia. Its height constantly changes (4750 – 4900 m / 15584 – 16076 ft). It has to do with incessant eruptions of the volcano. With each eruption crater collapses or grows. In 2006, the giant threw half of all volcanic products of Kurile-Kamchatka region. Stunning views of the entire Klyuchevskoy Park and Kronotsky Reserve open up from the top of the volcano. Klyuchevskaya Sopka is very beautiful and very dangerous. There is no single path for the hikers because the volcano constantly changes the terrain of its slopes. But there is one route that is easier to climb Klyuchevskoy volcano. It is a primary choice of most of tourist groups. However, climbing is still very difficult and dangerous.
